Lauren Philipson (Lestin), founder
Prior to the launch of Grey Fox PR, Lauren Philipson served as PR Director of the Ford Fry Restaurants team, where she oversaw the creation and execution of the public relations, marketing and social media strategies for all thirteen restaurants and related event promotion. She relocated to Atlanta from her hometown of Houston, Texas, and joined a boutique PR, marketing and consulting firm where she grew her passion for building relationships and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry. With communication expertise and proven management skills, Lauren implements strategic marketing and public relations campaigns for clients including local and national restaurant groups, charitable organizations and real estate developers in addition to coordinating and executing high-profile events.
Bianca Kukowski,PR Director
Bianca joined the world of PR after graduating from the University of Georgia and moving to Atlanta. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, she began her career with a boutique, Atlanta-based agency, working with clients across the Southeast before heading west to Dallas and discovering the Texas food and beverage scene. Making her way back to Atlanta in 2018, she’s worked with clients spanning the hospitality and lifestyle industry, from chefs, restaurants and hotels to real estate communities, fitness studios and live entertainment brands, bringing a wealth of experience creating and implementing impactful public relations campaigns to the Grey Fox PR team as PR Director.
Sarah Ruffin, PR Consultant
Sarah is a native South Carolinian who has worked in hospitality PR in Atlanta for nearly a decade. A graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South and lover of all things food, wine, and travel, she started her career in 2014 at a boutique agency representing some of ATL’s top restaurants and hotels. In 2019, she accepted a role with Sprouthouse, a Southern-headquartered agency with a national footprint, and grew to Director level there, where she worked with clients and media across the country. In 2022, Sarah started her own freelance PR + media consulting firm, where she does freelance and strategy work for agencies including Grey Fox PR. A writer at heart, Sarah is passionate about storytelling and loves the process of uncovering new trends and story angles; over the course of her career, she has scored features for her clients in publications including Conde Nast Traveler, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Garden & Gun, Travel + Leisure, Art Culinaire, Southern Living, NPR, Forbes, Good Morning America, and more. In her spare time, you can find her plotting her next travel destination, practicing yoga, walking her pup Stanley, or trying a new restaurant.
Anna Negus, PR Coordinator
A graduate of Auburn University, Anna grew up in the Dunwoody area of Atlanta where she developed a love of food from an early age. Inspired by her father’s Italian cooking, she went on to work at the Urestaurants concept, Novo Cocina, for over five years, growing a deep appreciation for the industry. While pursuing her degree, she interned for the director of marketing of the locally loved Auburn spots: The Depot & The Hound, which ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in food & beverage-focused PR. Following her graduation in 2022, she returned to her hometown and joined Grey Fox PR. In her downtime, you can find Anna in the kitchen testing out a new recipe, cheering on the Braves or hanging out with her golden-retriever, Rupee.
